surge, swirl
the seething kaleidoscope
reel, roil
the wreathing tourniquet
chromatose decay
brain dead
convoluted gray
leached of vim and verve
beyond the vivid curve
spectral vision fail
shades pulled
close out the light
no rage
no fight
